"Fabulous hotel. Check in was great. The manager was friendly and helpful. Lobby is gorgeous, set up for Christmas. We enjoyed the cookies and hot cocoa. The pool area is clean and great for kids. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. This hotel will be our new go to in Portsmouth. "

"We really enjoyed our stay . I found the lobby too cold to sit and chat but we moved in the breakfast eating area to enjoy our evenings . I was disappointed that the fireplace in the eating area was not working due to lost remote and T. Wasn’t working because it wasn’t connected . First time a TV in the eating area wasn’t working . "The room was quite adequate. Two minor complaints: There were no luggage "racks" in the room--so we were forced to put one suitcase on the credenza which blocked the television view and one suitcase on the floor. The other issue was that there were no backup rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom--requiring me to walk out to the front desk and ask for a roll. "

"There was ice all over the front porch to get in to check in. The tub was dirty plus the thing to switch from tub to shower was broke. Couldn’t have breakfast because it was in the office that did not open until 9 or 10 am. "
